Our technology is based on electrochemistry using electricity to transform and remove various contaminants from water. Our system design includes flow-through electrochemical cells containing proprietary electrodes driven by and maintained by an array of electrical devices assembled in our custom power modules.

About the Position:

In this position, you will support the ongoing development of the technology portfolio and design systems tailored to meet client needs. Your role may also include client site installations and servicing supporting our equipment startup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This is a hands-on, dynamic position requiring adaptability and flexibility. This is primarily an onsite job where you will generally work at our physical workplace and as needed at client sites.

Specific Areas of Focus:

Water Quality and Treatment: Developing Technologies for Wastewater Treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Engineering: Designing Elateq’s electrochemical systems and equipment for wastewater treatment, including adapting existing core design for novel applications and supporting Elateq’s commercial ready technology for full scale implementations.

Project Management: Managing research projects, from conception to implementation, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Reporting and Documentation: Preparing technical reports, presentations, and publications to communicate research findings and project progress.

Research and Development: Conducting experiments, analyzing data, upgrading the existing Elateq’s water treatment technologies, and developing upgrades and new technologies. The latter currently focuses on developing and piloting Elateq’s electrochemical PFAS destruction technology (NSF Phase II SBIR).

Skills and Qualifications:

Education: A master’s or bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant project and process experience in wastewater treatment. Experience in a leadership role is beneficial.

Technical Skills:

Must haves: Product design, water treatment process engineering, knowledge of/expertise in advanced water treatment technologies. System sizing and component selection. Technology piloting. Data analysis.

Nice to haves: Knowledge of/expertise in techno-economic analysis, electrochemical technologies, and control systems/automation, along with Laboratory experience.

Software Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD. Basic knowledge of SOLIDWORKS.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Clearly and concisely communicating technical findings in reports and presentations is crucial.

Problem-Solving: Ability to independently identify and solve complex problems as well as while working with the team.

What We Offer:

 Full-time employment with a base, annual salary in the range of $75,000-90,000.
